Crumbed or Tempura chicken breast nuggets.
Ingham's nuggets usually never go on sale for half price.
Hope they've retained their flavour, unlike their tenders…which is not as good as it used to be.

mum! make me chicken nugs
46% chicken breast, in a paste, not fillets.
13% Protein, 13% Fat, 18% Carbs.
Came here to find this out, thanks.
I'll pass on the emulsifiers. Thanks @pentole.
These taste and bend like rubber
Perfect timing then, I need a door stopper.
Wow, this is below manufacturing price. Cost per kg of chicken nuggets and most formed products are ~$7 per kg.
Manufacturing price? Are you sure to be sure?
I highly doubt that on such big scale.
yeah that sounds way to high.
I worked at an Inghams further processing factory previously so i know what im talking about. Think about it, chicken breast is already $6-7 per kg wholesale. Nuggets are 65% chicken breasts, after you include other ingredients, labour costs, equipment costs, it works out to that amount.
The poultry industry is also quite protected in Australia, you cant buy imported chicken nuggets. Therefore you have to include the high australian labour costs in these products.
Pop next door to Coles and get a Steggles chicken at half price ($2.90 a kilo) instead. Much healthier.
Steggles are marketing chicken tenders that are formed chicken - basically made from whatever shit they find at the bottom of the chicken barrel. While claiming it's chicken breast it's probably skin and fat and the chickens arse to boot.
That's probably why they taste like shit. Not sure about the 'nuggets'.
I find one of the nicer of the cheap frozen chicken strips/nugget types are the Coles Chicken Tender at a constant $3.80 price
which seem to have a decent amount of chicken in them and taste great.
what's the best nuggets available in either Coles/Woolies/Aldi? Always disappointed with the nuggets I bought in the past..
the aldi nuggets are pretty good for taste.
Thanks! Will pick some up next time I'm in Aldi :)
Tegel battered nuggets
Looks like it's on special @ Woolies at the moment, might try getting some this week. Thanks!!
Why do they stock two flavours when nobody likes the southern style? Every time they're on special the chili ones are gone before I get there.
Theee Bette than kfc?
Regarding crumbed Tenders, tried the Steggles Herb and Garlic from Aldi (I 🤔) and they were acceptable.
