    The first one in the link as it's easy to replace should a piece from the set break and there's more matching stuff from the White Basics collection you can add to it like milk jugs and butter dishes. The Edge one isn't as common I find (but still nice).

Made the mistake twice of buying Maxwell & Williams crockery. The second set was at the time their top line Cashmere.Both sets just plain rubbish that had to be replaced within a few years. Swore to myself to never by M&W again.

My Aldi white everyday crockery has taken an absolute beating for years and is still mostly 100% intact.

  I've very mixed opinions of them; have enough of their stuff but never been impressed with the quality. I'd say the quality matches the price shown here, but I wouldn't buy their higher priced items - I feel they don't compete well at the higher price point.
