I've got NZD50 leftover from a recent trip. I want to convert it to AUD.
Any recomendations for the best rate with the lowest fees?
Parramatta or Sydney CBD / Newtown locations would be good.

No idea if they deal in NZD or care for a $50 trade … but they've been reasonable for USD and GBP exchanges, since KVB turned douchey.
Outside of that, try a money changer in Harris Park, if you're going to Parramatta. They should have better rates the the city guys.

Maybe find someone who is going to NZ soon, and agree on a mutually agreeable exchange rate. Or let them bring you back some Speights.
I had $40 from when my daughter went in 2015 and then I paid for some photos on a tour and shared them with the tour group and they gave me $10 and I was so focused on not getting any NZ coins that I did the whole trip on my CC /slaps forehead.

I, if I remember and have the time, drag out all of my cash and try to use it in the departure / duty free.From memory, Auckland was great as they accepted some NZD and AUD cash in the one transaction, just for a tshirt. I ended up with minimal coins, and I dropped those into one of the charity donation boxes.
Maybe just take the hit and change it anywhere. Even if you find somewhere with a better spread of about 5 cents you're only looking at about $2.50 difference.
