I've got a Bluetooth HP keyboard and mouse but lost the USB dongle. If I get the logitech USB unifying module would it connect both keyboard and mouse to my laptop?
If not, what can I do?

I've got a HO Pro x2 which has inbuilt bluetooth however cannot recognise either
I think the keyboard may not be bluetooth and instead use a different wireless communication technology (like 2.4ghz or something). What make/model is the keyboard?
I'm fairly certain that the unifying dongle only works with specific logitech products branded with 'unifying'. So that's not gunna work
If it's just bluetooth, why can't you just buy any random bluetooth dongle off ebay?

I've got two bluetooth dongles but neither worked.
So the mouse and keyboard isn't bluetooth? Either that or you didnt put them into pairing mode.

The Logitech unifying receive doesn't use Bluetooth (it uses 2.4ghz radio waves). Generic Bluetooth adapters from eBay/Aliexpress/alternative should work.
Your keyboard isn’t Bluetooth. It will probably be 2.4Ghz like the Logitech receiver however the Logitech receiver wouldn’t work.
There are generic ones for $2 on eBay maybe try that

Logitech product either use the Unifying Receiver, or they use Bluetooth (and some can use either). The Unifying Receiver is a proprietary 2.4ghz solution.
You could try another cheap bluetooth dongle, but if you've tried two already then it sounds like your KB and mouse are actually not BT devices. I can't think of any HP peripherals that are any good, so I would suggest replacing them.
how about you post the model of the keyboard and mouse and we can go from there
Does your PC have bluetooth built-in? If not, you can buy a usb bluetooth dongle online (eBay has them for between $5-$11).
