I think they taste really bland and floury compared to what they get outside of the country. Hot and Spicy isn't available where i live (i believe they have it all year round at NT and Qld). Do they even reflect Colonel's recipe?

I always go for H & S too, but is it just me or have they changed the seasoning?
It’s more like crunchy vs original now, no heat whatsoever.
I swear the chicken used to have some chilli powder on them some years ago, zilch now, or am I imagining things? No imagining things, there is no hot or spicy in them
I think KFC in general is very inconsistent, the restaurant and surrounds are often poorly maintained/dirty, the menu is dated and bread is often stale, some stores obviously have good management as it shows in the staff and the food.
Whatever your opinion on McDonald’s, compared to KFC they are very professionally run.I had Kfc while in Mauritus and it was so good. The zinger here is so mild and the general quality of the food and service is pretty hit and miss.
P.s: In Hong Kong, they tasted more floury.
Really, love the ones in hk and Macau, their chicken are way better in my opinion extra crunchy and every piece is so smooth, unlike the ones in aus. Especially love the oval one ice cream, taste so good, if you are still in hk or should try it
I was there last year and I only had it once as it was highly recommended by a colleague but all my lunches and dinners were work-dos. So I had a zinger burger, hotshots and 1 hot& spicy at 7 am.
Could have been the combination of going in with unfairly high expectations and it being too early to stomach that much fat, salt and msg😥 Will give it another go when I go back in a couple of months.
The burgers you can’t really taste it but you should try their original recipe, last time I went they had the honey On original recipe and that was gold in my opinion. What I din’t like about Australia kfc is that they have so little option, original or h&s.
Their chicken taste kinda fake. Probably because their chicken are so mass produced that their meat are so pumped up with growth hormones their meat don't have the 'density' Australian chicken has, and hence is smoother?
How dare you..
Since when does the C stand for Chicken, I always thought the C in KFC was from the roaming around the skip-bin neighborhood Ca….. Oh… never mind.
My mistake.
I asked some of my son's school friends if they knew what the acronym 'KFC' stood for. One of the kids said "kitchen-Fresh Chicken"😲😂🤣 Gen Z is doomed.
Hot and spicy is continuously available in WA too.
I like hot and spicy better than original. I usually get 3 piece pack with 2 HS, 1 original.
I had KFC in the Bahamas and it was quite different.
