Might want to note that shipping is free with prime if you spend over $49 from international Amazon

    It's not free.

    • ???

    • Evening jv.

      • It's a bit chilly in Melbourne.

        • Same here. My toes are cold.
Still I'd much prefer the cold over the heat any day.

  • Lol why does the thumbnail show “mountain bike”

    • Haha no idea. If you click on the link it then shows the road bike cover…

I just watch youtube videos. Easier to learn that way and also free.

      Watch one about proper nouns.

LOL. I prefer the one on superlative adjectives

I need some sleep, misread that as "superlaxative detectives"…

          • @mapax: That would give you the runs…

      • This comment touched me in a special way.

  • I'm with prime and was getting charged $15 at checkout? Also noticed there is a mountain bike version which is a newer edition (2018) for $29. Actually require that one but its not special……Anyone in Melb want to get a copy as well to get free delivery?

You young scallywags may not know this, but the title is a play on the title of a book of fiction, "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance: An Inqiry into Values", written by Robert Pirsig in 1974. Well worth the read.

    • "The only thing missing is u" ?

"Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" was a play on the title of the 1948 book "Zen in the Art of Archery", which brought Japanese zen philosophy to the mass consciousness. On the other hand, Persig, the author of Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, wrote, "it should in no way be associated with that great body of factual information relating to orthodox Zen Buddhist practice. It's not very factual on motorcycles, either." Around 200 different books have similar titles to Zen in the Art of Archery.

    • This is what came to mind in my case.

      That's terrible Muriel.

To be, is simply to realise what and where you are. You will never need someone elses' explanation. $49 is never required to realise and be it.

To put it another way, bicyles are easy to fix and enjoy. Selling books on this subject is a completely unrelated exercise to enjoying bike riding.

Go on the web, or to the library, to find for free much more than any single book can try to impart to you.

Try to realize the truth…there is no bicycle. Then you will see it is not the bicycle that requires maintenance, it is only yourself.
