What's the best oven freestanding 90cm under $1000 you guys recommend? If have to be over $1000 whats the nearest price?

Got a 750mm oven after the salespeople claimed 900mm ovens are mostly the same size as 750mm but with controls on the side to take away space. Is this untrue?

we toyed with 900mm on last replacement, it was as cheap to get two 600mm units.
.I've got a Smeg 90cm, but it cost multiple times what your budget is. My mum has an Ilve 90cm which was like $7k or something close to that, I think my Smeg is better. But on the flipside, she also has a Smeg in her beachouse and it's worse than both and was halfway between my oven price and hers.
What was particularly disheartening for me, was that on a recent trip to the UK, I went to an electrical store, and realised that Smeg is actually a budget oven brand, it's just that people think European appliances are better in Australia, and pay more for them.
Unless things changed recently, Smeg was never a cheap brand, but as usual you're paying multiple times the original EU/USA price, just like for everything else in Australia.
Gas or electric?
