  • And don't forget cashback!

  • Has any one got any experience with these? What are they like?

Mobvoi makes great devices. They've really carved out a niche for themselves - they are kind of like the Oneplus of the smartwatch world. Really great devices that are much cheaper.

    • Got one and can answer any questions (E). The bottleneck is more Wear OS is crappy, and the hardware for watches is horribly out of date (thanks qualcomm).

Still, it's a good cheap and cheery watch that looks good, lasts a day easily even with Ambient wear on (which should be a default).

TBH i’d rather be looking the Huawei Honor or GT watches (1.2 vs 1.39 screen). Battery life kills most of the Android watches and they have great HR monitors, sleep monitor, GPS and exercise tracking. Battery on my Honor (with HR monitor on all the time) is 4-5 days. GT apparently even better. Yes, they are more limited due to lack of 3rd party apps but having used 3 other android watches that need daily charging, my preference is battery life.

(Honor is ~ $170 and GT $203 at Tobydeals)

GT is a joke of a watch tbh. It's a glorified fitness tracker… My mate got one with his phone, and even though we're expecting half a Smartwatch, we were still left disappointed.

  • Worth noting that these watches, including the Ticwatch Pro and the C2 are on sale on both the Mobvoi website and Amazon. The difference being is that with Amazon you'll likely get a quicker delivery, and cashback of 5% with Cash Rewards or 6% with Shopback, and if you buy from the Mobvoi site you can pay with PayPal which has its benefits too. I just bought the Ticwatch Pro and C2 for my partner and I through this Amazon deal, and used Shopback for 6% cashback which comes in around $32, bringing the total down to $506 delivered :)

  • Note that C2 does not have speaker so cannot use it to talk through the watch. E and S models have speaker but they lack NFC and Rose Gold color that I was looking for. Any suggestions for the watch with speaker and NFC in this price range?

  • Would Cash Rewards give 10% cashback being a watch or do they class it as electronics and only give 5% cashback?

    • smart watches are classified as electronics, and so, only 5% cashback.

      • I thought so. 10% would have been nice
