Need Help Deciding on a Dryer

Hi,

Trying to buy a new dryer for the family, but not sure which one to go with considering that we have never used a dryer before. We are looking at condenser dryers and have two choices:
1. Esatto ECD7 7Kg Condenser Dryer $529 - Seems to have great reviews and is extremely cheap. Not sure about its durability.
2. Omega OCD7C 7Kg Identico Condenser Dryer $579 - Not sure if it's worth an upgrade over the Esatto
3. Beko DCY7402GXB2 7Kg Condenser Dryer $739 - A bit of a premium against the two, but made in Turkey and has sensory dryer.

Anyone have any insights on any of these? Or do you have any recommendations on other dryers?

Thank you in advance!

    Cheapest possible one with warranty.

    • Terrible reviews.

      • Yeah, I never had a problem. Actually most of the reviews are quite good.

        • Ahh okay, thank you! I'll go look at it in person :)

Apart from the LED display, the omega and esatto look pretty much identical.

I bought the esatto from appliances online a few months ago (great reviews, cheap). It is fantastic and I am very happy with my purchase.

As it is a condenser dryer it has a drain cable that needs to be connected to the sink (just like a washing machine has a drain cable). I'm not very technical and couldn't figure this out from the instructions (and tube videos I watched on how to do this with other dyers). My husband came home and did it in a few minutes LOL.

So the only stumbling block you have with it, is trying to install the drainage cable. But otherwise it is brilliant. It automatically turns off when the clothes are dry. I would definitely buy the product again.

    • Thanks for the review. Can't you empty out the water with a container? Do you have to have a drain cable?

      • Yes, but every 2 times you use it. You definitely want to install the drainage cable. If you have problems (if you buy it) just message me and I will take a photo for you of how mine looks.

        • I appreciate your help :)

If you pick the ESATTO i would pay the extra $90 and get the heat pump version

I got a good condition normal air dryer from gumtree for $50 as I was sick of waiting so long for the condenser dryer to finish and still have the clothes come out damp. Never looked back and haven't used the condenser again. I dry outside as best as possible then finish of in air dryer for 15min :)

Heat pump dryer or a cheap non condensing dryer

Beko has 5 yr warranty with registration

I have that Beko one. Can't speak for the other 2 ones you listed but the Beko has been excellent.

Just in case you haven't come across it in your research, I hope you're not trying to wall mount the condenser dryer as they're usually a bit too heavy for it.
