I have a simple question, if money was no issue and it was only down to preference, what phone would you prefer? Given your use case?
e.g
- Samsung Galaxy Fold
- iPhone XS Max
- Xaoimi Redmi line etc.
Interest in your results and use cases.

Maxwell Smart's shoe phone. I like rotary dialing.
Die Xfone?
I'd wait a little longer for the Oneplus 7
Can we buy it in Australia?
so… whats your favourite phone?
samsung note 10+.
like most normal peoples preference.
the other side are freak apple users.
the "confused bunch"
If money was no issue, I'd simply buy all of them as rotate then each day… Or I would pay someone to read stuff out aloud to me while I get massaged by my 24x7 masseur
iPhone XS Max
If apple made a phone with good battery life I would probably pick it.
I'd buy the latest Pixel and put the 'Q' beta on it. I really want to test the new hearing aid functionality.
I have the Samsung Galaxy S10+ and it is fantastic, best phone I've ever used. Really happy with it :)
Razr V4
Do a poll
Nokia 3310
GA628
All the flagships except from Apple

Smart phones that work reliably
Samsung S10+… no question. It's the ultimate phone. I love mine.
Smart phone with longer battery life
Since we're talking about theoretical devices…..
User Interface: by Meizu (a great balance of intuitive and feature-packed via Android).
Software: by Apple (Swift/Metal means more native code that runs faster and more efficiently).
CPU: by Apple (A12 is two generations ahead of Samsung and Qualcomm).
GPU: by Qualcomm (Adreno is two generations ahead of Apple and ARM).
RAM: by Samsung (currently has the fastest and most offering).
Storage: by Apple (uses a micro nvmei SSD, much more expensive than Huawei's very-fast flash based storage).
Screen: by Samsung (indisputable king, I would take a 1080p-120Hz option though).
Cameras: by Sony (This one is tricky because Sony Exmor makes the best sensors, Pixel AI has the best algorithms, Apple has the best video performance, however Huawei wins by sheer hardware power).
External Hardware: by RoG (I want a flat glass, metal back, front-firing stereo loudspeakers, headphone jack, and USB 3.1-C. These ASUS guys come closest).
Hardware-support: by Apple (stores everywhere, including Authorised dealers and non-authorised shops).
Software-support: by Apple (again, no brainer to take Apples stronger security and their 5-year support over Google's 3-year, or Samsung's 1.5-year timeframes and less frequent intervals).
….but if I cannot have a theoretical phone; I would be choosing between the iPhone XS Max and Samsung S10+. Or I would wait for an iPhone Y Plus, Note10, ASUS RoG Phone 2, or a Pixel 4XL, however root-access and Custom ROMs are important factors for me.
I'm not into the Huawei MateX Flip, even though it's the best, their software and support sucks. And the device is a little larger than I prefer. Not to mention it is stupidly fragile compared to flat/candybar phones.
Sony Ericsson T28
Redmi line from Xiaomi.
Spend $350 every 18 months and get a phone that is 90% as good as a flagship.
If money was not an issue you could spend $2000 every 6 months and get a phone that is 110% as good as a flagship.
preference is still not to spend that amount on money on a phone.
Mi mix 3
Moto G5S plus
It is cheap & it even makes phone calls :)
What else do you need from a 'mobile phone'?
The bat phone.
