Need some advice please. The Macbook Air I bought in October 2015 suddenly died / stop booting up last week. I took it to the Apple store yesterday and after checking they said there is an issue with the motherboard and it will cost $750 to fix it. They also mentioned that the ACCC has defined the reasonable life time of a Macbook is 3 years. Is this correct?
Is there any other place in Sydney that I can get it fixed for less than what Apple store charge?
Thanks
You could probably get the logic board repaired for around $500 elsewhere. The laptop is quite old and used logic board are selling for $300
