2x 64GB Lexar Professional 2000x SD Cards with Card Readers for $228 Delivered (HK) @ Toby Deals

70
WELCOME10

just bought the Sony A7iii from the other deal and needed a couple SD cards.
found online coupon for $10 off over $200 spend and this was already the best price i could find on this SD card.
spec wise this is the best because it has the fastest read 300mb / write 260mb speed which i assume will be good for taking full size burst shots.

coupon code is WELCOME10
no idea how long it will work for or if its just for new users.
i created an account before checkout so that may be required not sure

update- these come with the card readers too btw
update 2 - theres also a free recovery tool from https://www.lexar.com/support/downloads/ that might be handy to keep

Don't neg things you don't understand

Lexar is no longer the Lexar that we knew. It is now owned and manufactured by Longsys, a company that I didn't know was involved in flash memory, in China.

So no, I wouldn't be trusting my important images to the Lexar of today.

Note: I still have my old 128MB Lexar CF card, which I paid a dear amount for. It still works perfectly today, just that not many cameras still use Compactflash. Most of new DSLRs use SD and XQD.

    • you are paying for the read/write speed not for the storage

  • Appreciate the post… honestly I have a mixed relationship with Lexar, these are DAMNED fast cards though.
My person opinion its to trust Sony over Lexar… see these cards:
At amazon Though that would be US dollars, so not quite as cheap…

EDIT: More important question, what are the current 3rd generation Alpha cameras capable of writing at speed-wise?

Self-answer: Looks like it very well can handle at or close to those speeds: Dpreview

    • the a7iii has a uh2 and a uh1 slot so i guess 1 of the slots is capable and the other is maybe for backup or for jpegs
i am not a pro photographer so if it is quicker than my old 5dm2 for sale btw at snapping the kids running around, thats all i need

  • Got 2 of these for 60AUD from Amazon US years ago.

    • They are the best cards though,Even today.

      • someone linked a sony in a comment above which id argue are probably better and if i had seen them before i purchased, i may have opted for those but at a 50% premium, i might end up getting the 128gb sony when it goes on sale or there is a big amazon cashback offer.

60 aud is a great price, i didnt see any other SD card sales on at the moment and very keen to have everything on hand when the camera arrives so ill just have to cop that loss on the chin.

    • How are they? I still see reviews on Amazon like "Got write error".. I have a hard time trusting them after being burnt years ago.. but times change etc

      • i have lexar CF for my 5dm2 that ive been using for many years without issue.
someone said the new cards are made by someone else and i havent had a chance to use them yet but if you PM me, ill let you know the read/write speed once they arrive and ive tested them
