  • Cheaper on ebay. Here's an example:

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-ERGOBABY-360-OMNI-COOL-AIR-M…

I got mine for $100 from China on ebay and it's the real thing. Unfortunately they don't sell them anymore. This is a much better carrier than the Baby Bjorn as we've got one of those to.

Looks like they are selling fakes, I wouldn't be putting my child in one of those, check the feedback for the product:
"Product is a fake, went to Baby Buntings to verify. Reported to police"

      • +4

Probably worth spending the extra 100 given you’re using it to strap your newborn to yourself. If it failed and it was fake….

      • Yes you are right. Saw many fakes being sold on ebay and gumtree. Read more here: https://ergobaby.com/counterfeits

$100 from China on ebay and it's the real thing.

      you sure ?

man, 200 bux for a bit of material to hold 3-10 kgs… seems a bit excessive… the fact that this sells for more than 50 bux blows my mind.

not saying its expensive for this exact product, in regard to what it sells for, just cant believe it sells for so much…

    • 20kg

you can always try free-hand carry your 20kg child or just dump it onto pram

Good design costs money. As does testing of the product. Agree it’s expensive but it saved my wife and I plenty of effort because it gave us use of our hands when carrying Bub. IMO a carrier of some sort is a necessity.

    • It is way expensive than some organic carrier

  • Thanks OP, I bought one and used the 5.5% shopback

Pearl Grey was not available anymore so bought Oxford Blue

    • try this link for pearl grey: https://www.davidjones.com/brand/ergobaby/21792457/Ergobaby-…

This color available for click and collect only though I think.

      • That's weird I couldn't find it before even using the search on DJ website. Wonder if I can buy a second one and return the other one? Just reading that they don't refund money if you have paid with paypal, I paid through paypal but with my AMEX.

  • Just to confirm this can be used on your back as well as front?

  • Good price, picked one up from Baby Bunting for $199 back in January and it's been great so far for a little one

    • is it mesh type ?

      • Good point, no it's the non mesh version and by memory the mesh version was $30 more at the time

  • Very good price for a guaranteed authentic Ergo with warranty. Great deal :)
Even better that it is the mesh type, which usually costs more.

  • This is a very good price!

Bought the onyx black from baby and toddler town for $219 and I thought that was a good deal. Wish I waited :(

  • Is it better than Baby bjorn one in terms of shoulder and back support?

    • +1

Yes. Also holds baby's legs in the optimal 'M' position.

I can't see buy button, is it instore only or stock has finished?

    • Same. The one OP linked is back up to $299 (rip-off) but the darker blue one is still at $199 https://www.davidjones.com/Product/21177610/OMNI-360-Carrier

However, neither has a buy button for me now.

      • DJ discount only applies at checkout

        299 is mesh with 30% = 209

        199 is cotton with 20% = 160

no buy button = sold out

  • Bought one off eBay a little while ago, haven't used it yet, what should I be looking out for to determine if it's a fake or not? Don't exactly like the idea of putting our baby in a fake one.

    Thanks.

    • You can always email the Ergobaby Australia team with photos of the one you have so they can authenticate it for you. They know best and they do it all the time.

      • Good idea, will do. Thanks.

Just got back from a walk with the kiddo in the non-mesh 360. Highly recommend this carrier.

  • Pretty good though we've broken 2 of the male buckles on the omni 360 so far (4 months old) (buckles can be purchased online so perhaps a known weakness in the design). no issues on our previous ergobaby.

    • +1

Wow, I used the Ergobaby Four Position 360 (predecessor to this Omni model) for over 2 years and didn't have a problem with the buckles either.

  • Miamily is pretty good too

  • Where is the button to add it to cart? I've tried in two browsers and its not there

    • no button = sold out

  • Is it better than baby bjorn?

  • Most of the carriers don't have a button to add it to the cart. The Omni 360 Mesh can't be delivered, only click and collect and no stores in SA have stock - It recommended I go to Maroochydore instead.

  • I have bought KONNY which i believe it's much better option.

  • Thanks OP. I was thinking of buying one this weekend, and I was amazed to see it pop up on OzBargain. Great price, and now I have one.

    • which one you ended buying ?

      • The one pictured above. Oxford Blue colour.

  • Cheers OP. I didn't realise I wanted one until this popped up, but wasn't able to get one nearby (Sunny Coast is nice, but not driving up there!).
Ended up getting a black one from Baby Bunting up the road for $239. Not their cheapest I'm aware. Click and collect only afaik.

  • Not sure why is this marked as EXPIRED as it is not. While stocks last. Offer available until 19/05/2019.

Just got the OMNI 360 Mesh for $209 less 5.5% cashback.

    • +1

That's a new promotion which just started on Monday I believe

      • Oh you're right! Anyway, it working now
