Currently has Google home mini, and the plan is to buy and connect it with chromecast audio to stream audio to the current audio system (Integra DRX-2).
Will it reduce the volume when we interact (provide a new voice command) with the GHM?

Yes, ideally to reduce volume while I'm saying "ok google" (similar functionality when you try to send voice command to GHM when GHM plays music)
As in, will the music on the stereo reduce in volume when you talk to the Google home? No it won't.
