Bose Noise-Masking Sleepbuds $329.95 + Free Shipping @ Bose

24

Possibly a mother's day deal: "Bose noise-masking sleepbuds™ are uniquely designed for sleep. But they don’t stream music or have acoustic noise cancellation. Instead, these tiny, wireless earbuds use pre-loaded, soothing sounds to cover up unwanted noises, so you can get to sleep and stay asleep."

Addicted to Audio and Videopro also have specials, but not sure if they include the 30 day trial.. Also a 90 day exchange period…. (?)

    Not a great price.

Qantas store has them for 2k points + $251.81 or 40,610 points.

    • yeah i agree

these things need to be sub $250 to make it a deal

you can't even cast your own music to the sleep pods and have to use their limited range of pre-recorded audio

    • Yup saw the same thing in Qantas. Not exactly a deal at the moment I guess

    Do these work?
With all construction around my house, maybe the stupid ridiculous price is worth it.

Yeah they do, but don't expect pure silence. Also, consider whether or not being subjected to a particular frequency (noise cancelling) for 6-8 hours will have some kind of effect on your brain. I'm just saying, has there been enough research into this?

ps I get that there is always some kind of sound frequency emanating around you when you sleep regardless, however, these provide direct delivery to ear drums and are of a particular sound frequency.

You would rather the known health implications of not sleeping over guessing that it might do something maybe?

I'm just giving my opinion and raising points. Your point is valid, too.

You can configure and turn it off after certain duration. And it's normal sound, not some ultra high or low frequency.

And it's noise masking, not cancelling.

It helps to do some research about the product first before making a comment.

Nicely said. I wasn't aware. Thanks for letting me know.

Sorry Vince but that isn't how the science behind noise cancelling works.

Active noise cancelling sends the opposite sound wave to ambient noise therefore cancelling each other out. Literally the sound ceases to exist, it is not "muted"

        • Ah, didn't realise. Thanks for the info!

So it's sending the signal outward and not towards your ears? Sorry for the question, just curious as to how it works.

          Thanks again

  • Got it cheaper through qantas

      30 day returns?
Is Qantas shop open for everyone or just frequent flyers?

I got Audiofly AF56 during the cyber monday sale. They disappear into the ear comfortably. I plug them in and play relaxing spotify playlists. I am able to side sleep too wearing them. Interested people can give thid cheaper option a try. And by the way, they have amazing soumd quality. Super light weight.
