A 3 night ski holiday for 2 adults and 2 kids, skiing at blue cow with ALDI gear is worth over 8K?
If you stay above the snowline the accommodation starts at about 1250 a night for an average room. It's hideously expensive. Before you even look at ski hire, food, transport, ski lifts. I stayed in Jindabyne last year below the snowline which is more affordable. I saw an article where they compared the cost of flying to Japan to go skiing for a week and going to the snow here. It was cheaper to go to Japan for a week
