Grey version (only) of Volley shoes reduced to $5 at Big W. On clearance, so price should be same at other Big W stores. Most sizes were still available at my local store but be quick. Original price was $39.

Volleys are no longer owned by Dunlop.
Thanks, I've updated the post to remove "Dunlop".
Yep, and whether it's because of that or not, these ones you get from Big W are complete crap. You'll barely get a month of intermittent wear out of them.
Sounds like quality may have been variable from when Dunlop owned them ie. "By 2009, the Dunlop volley brand was diluted with a vast array of casual slip on shoes and plagued with production quality issues and constant supplier changes of the Dunlop Volley." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volley_(shoe)
For $5 with these I don't think people would be overly worried.
From previous discussions on Volleys - there are 2 different qualities: Volley (these) & Volley International (which have thicker soles etc, longer wearing & more expensive).
Anchorage Capital - infamous for buying Dick Smith & gutting it, are the owners😱
Volley are a popular fad in China with 50 stores there.

Went to Big W QV Melbourne. Didn't find them, found these instead
https://send.firefox.com/download/766059eb2c4c573a/#GDhtzUc_…Tag shows 10 dollars. They are 8 dollars when scanned.
I went, too. No luck. Their volley section is a quarter of what it once was.
Are these suitable for going out on Friday or Saturday night??
more importantly…are they suitable for a spot of tennis ???
What do people use them for?
wearing or throwing at others? Both. They are versatile and when thrown cover more distance than the lighter fancy brand ones.
I really like these shoes, hope I get some
You will get some (action) if you partner likes them too! ;-)
You guys reckon these are too flassy for visits to Centrelink?
As usual nothing within a billion km of me
Perfect festival shoes.
And these ones already look like they've been in the mud
