These are the best PC speakers at this price point. Great sound & bass. If only they had the optical input of the US modeled z625s - they'd be perfect.
AND… if only they had bluetooth.
Aux to Bluetooth adapter less than 5 bucks on eBay
An optical to RCA converter box costs about $10. If you get one that can be powered from USB, you can often power it directly from the signal source's USB socket (TVs, DVD players, and blu-ray players usually have a USB socket).
These always lag. I have tried several and although the lag is minimal, it's annoying.
It won't be the converter box, it's simply a DAC. If there's a lag, its the signal source (TV, Bluray player etc) that is providing this.
Here's an article on how to adjust the lag on a Samsung TV, perhaps your device has a similar adjustment:

I just checked, my cheapo Kogan TV doesn't have any adjustment in the standard menu, and I don't know if it has a service menu like the Samsung one in the article. But my Kogan doesn't exhibit any lag, so I'm not concerned.

Hi Guys,
If anyone know how to connect my speakers to tv.
Speakers has RCA,and 3.5mm
Tv has PB PR AND Y,L,R AND Hdmi and Digital Audio opt options.
I tried to connect L R to RCA but it is not working.
Any help will be much appreciated.
Thank you
The Z623 should work if connected to the (L, R) RCA connectors on your TV.
On some TVs, there is a separate volume setting for those outputs, Check through the menus of your TV.
If you can't get those to work, the only other option is the digital output. A digital-to-RCA adaptor box costs about $10 from China or from Ebay, e.g. https://www.banggood.com/Digital-Optical-Coax-Coaxial-Toslin…
I have Samsung UA55KU600W. I have tried to check any options in settings but it did not help. I will try the second option that you have suggested. Thank you.
Reading your original comment again, the (L,R) RCA sockets on your TV must be audio inputs to the TV, not audio outputs. On many modern TVs, there is no audio output except the digital output.
With the adaptor I linked to, you can power the adaptor from the TV's USB port. I have a TV with a similar adaptor hooked up this way, it works well. But I have also seen this arrangement produce a small amount of 50Hz buzz on the speakers, if that happens then use an old phone charger to power the adaptor.
@Russ: I have just ordered the one you have recommended. I will let you know once I will try. Thank you very much for your kind help.
@samy18: My Sony doesn't have RCA any more it all runs out the 3.5 audio. If you have a 3.5 it most likely can be used to output. Happy to answer any questions as well I've been using these for years on computer television cell phone
Hi, i had the same issue until I purchased a digital to analogue audio converter from ebay for about 10 bucks. I needed an Optical Toslink Digital Sound Cable and normal RCA cables and it worked after googling for ages. Do you have a 3.5mmm headphone socket on your tv?
No I don't have 3.5mm and that is the problem. I have just ordered one @Russ has recommended. Hope it will work with my TV. Let me know if your set up is different than his recommendations. I might try that as well.
Had mine since 2013 - amazing speakers. They need update for new inputs + bluetooth however for more utility
I've found the power button on my set is very crappy - took the first one back for a replacement because it would crackle and be on the edge of turning on/off quite a lot, even though I never pressed the button - the mechanism behind the button felt quite crap.
Happened again with the replacement set. That said, bang for buck the sound performance is very good.
Same happened with mine & got them replaced. I believe it's a common problem. I've seem some people say it's dust getting into the volume adjuster. They take the speaker apart and blow out the dust. Never tried it but I will if it happens to the next pair.
Thanks. What's is the normal price on these? JB hi Fi doesn't say.
They don't want to let you know, that's why. 😉
Then this really isn't much of a deal!
They vary from around $95-$100 when on special, to around $150-$200 when they are not.
For under $100 it's okay, if you can pony up $20 more edifier r1280t is probably miles better. Bluetooth version +$10.
Now $249. Offer was for Saturday only.
No optical. Pass
