    How about thisno free shipping

    • That's just Full HD with a 1tb the one posted is super HD with a 2tb drive.

I find I'll only ever use 4 cameras so getting a 8 pack is a waste

      • I've never heard of something being referred to as "super HD"

        • So many marketing terms, i believe "super hd" refers to something like 1440p, in between 1080p and 2160p.

    These r old/outdated with DVR…2 cables …1 for power and 1 for data…
Recommend to use system that supports H.265 video compression with NVR where Ethernet cables supply the power as well as data communication.

yes POE is the way to go ..cant believe companies still push new systems with BNC/coaxial setups

true. The other feature with POE enabled system is that IP Cameras so you can watch them even if you are on holidays from the other side of the world on your phone. Not sure if this is possible with these ones? highly doubted.

Have not checked this particular model but the similar Swann system at Bunnings can view over the internet too.

That is not related to PoE, which is simply a way to supply power to the cameras. It's the DVR that determines whether or not you can monitor the feed from your phone. This system can - it says so right in the description.

I suspect that is why it is cheap.

    • Can you recommend a decent ethernet system with similar amount of cameras? Interested to know how much they cost in comparison.

These are not old or outdated. If you're running new cables, I would also recommend a PoE system. However if you have an existing analog CCTV system, it would use the same wires as this, so it's a very easy upgrade for much, much better image quality. No need to spend money running new cables if the existing cables work fine.

The only benefit that H.265 gives is smaller file sizes for the same quality, so you'll get longer recording times - but not by that much. You can upgrade the 2TB hard disk in this one if needed.

  • You haven’t heard of wyze cam or have you?

    • They are for indoors though right?
These would at least be protected outdoor area suitable.

        'IP66 rated weatherproof'

      • They have reports of people running outdoors without issues as long as it is not under the rain.

Not a freebie… Please untick that option in the post.

Good for when you already have pre-existing cables and want to upgrade without running new cables.

i have use these cameras for the third year now and i find it as excellent system(and of course i could not be bother rewiring again so bnc came in handy)i would recommend this system

  • Got this system and always having issues with the app. It 'forgets' the system so have to close and reopen it. Also takes a while to connect to the system on 4G few times.

It's pretty believable really, and please less !!!!!!!!!
