Hi everyone….Hubby and I are looking at staying in Melbourne from 28th April to 1st May. I was hoping to stay in the CBD but the problem is finding somewhere to stay where the parking is not too costly. I was wondering if there are any parking stations where we an leave our car for 3 days which are a reasonable price. I was thinking we could drop the car and leave it there till we leave. An option would be to leave the car somewhere outside of the CBD and use public transport to our accommodation in the CBD. If there was a parking station with easy access to the CBD that would be a consideration. Or perhaps if someone could point me to accommodation with reasonable parking where we could just use public transport to the CBD. We haven't booked a hotel yet. Thanks in anticipation of your help.

That is what I would be doing? Even if they don’t have an off street car park they may have a street permit.

There are literally tons of streets in and around South Yarra / Richmond / inner city etc that are unrestricted parking where you could leave your car 3 days with no worries. You just need to peel your eyes and look at the signs
Parking at QV melbourne is capped at $19 if you spend $1 at QV.
Additional info: there is a Woolworths and Big W at QV so it’s very easy to spend only $1.
It's $20 now. Saw the sign at the entrance last weekend.
You guys can use my visitors on street parking permit (Cremorne), only meters from trains/trams.
Park in Flemington in one of the side streets off Ascot Vale Road and take the tram or train into the city (10-15mins)
AirBnB it with a car spot?
