    Pfft, I have a 4K movie collection of about 50 films on iTunes and paid under $100 for it between free upgrades from HD and $5 movie deals. If you still think $20 is ‘bargain’ for 4K content you need to get with the times.

  I’d suggest the CheapCharts app for anybody looking for up to date deals on iTunes movies. It’s been pretty helpful, and you can also search historically for different prices.

    This is how I was notified, I had The Hobbit in my Cheap Charts wish list, then looking further noticed the sale on a heap of the trilogies.

  To everyone who reads this, is there any way to check the end date of these deals?

  I am interested to buy The Hobbit and LOTR trilogies.

  The reason why I am asking is, I was thinking to get some 15 or 20% discounted iTunes cards and then use them here. I am sure that it keeps coming almost every alternate week or so.

      I picked up some 15% off iTunes cards last week, so I was good in this regard, I like to keep some stockpiled now for when 4K movie deals for $5 like this come around.

      That said, going by past iTunes deals like this I suspect they will be having a "Trilogies on sale for Easter weekend" sale, so I'd expect them to last at least to the end of the long weekend. I'll keep an eye out in iTunes for expiry dates and update the deal once I know, hopefully after some 15% off cards are available #fingerscrossed
