I've decided to continue the special on the Rockwell 6s razor for an extra coupe of days. After selling the 12 we had available in last weeks sale, we had some extra requests for the product. i agreed to open the sale on the product for pre orders provided we received 20 plus pre ordered units however didn't quite get there.

If we can get another handful pre ordered I'll place an order with Rockwell and provide the Rockwell 6s at the discounted price of $112- Normally $139.95.

Everyone knows how awesome these razors are and how sharp this price is so don't miss out.

Delivery will be in 2-4 weeks once we have placed the order with Rockwell so please don't order if you're unwilling to wait this long.

If we don't receive the required 20 order by midnight night tomorrow night (April 16) then we will cancel the pre orders and refund on Wednesday.

All units shipped will be done so with tracking as soon as they are received and we will keep you updated on shipment and delivery status along the way or are happy to respond to emails on delivery advice.

  • Bought some of your cream and balm in last sale. Great products but the worst packaging I've ever used. Nothing fit well and all of them leaked, no matter how you tighten. A pity. Just some feedback.

    Thinking about the razor.

    • Hi Mate,

      Sorry to hear that.

Can you contact me via PM so I can help you out? We do get the occasional leak but it's not common.

      Thanks, Chris.

      • Presently in China and ozbargain doesn't allow me to PM. Honestly, no big deal but I think if you have the chance, consider using softer plastics similar to the Proraso stuff next time on the cream. Easy to open and it bites into itself for a firmer fit. The glass balm bottles have a cap that doesn't click on. It kind of sits there waiting to fall off. As mentioned, enjoyable products though.

Get in touch when you're back home mate and I'll fix you up. No dramas.
If you order the 6s at the sale price 'll replace your cream for you- no dramas.
Those caps for the balm can be a little loose sometimes but most of the time they are fine. We normally replace any that feel a little off.

          Appreciate the feedback though!

i think the product is overpriced - can get a razor from merkur or parker for less than half of that price as a regular price

  • Do these razors clog up, ie wont make it through a full stroke on the cheek ( say 5mm growth).

I use the cheapo 1 blade disposable BIC razors. Love them for the low irritation but I find I have to keeping tapping them on the sink too often to release the build up and restore effectiveness of the razor.

Also I just use the hot water from showering to soften my bristles, no shaving cream, can this lead to the issue with clogging I wonder?

    • You get less irritation from a 1 blade cheapo razor using only water???

I used to use sensitive shaving foam and a quad blade and never had any issues, just rinse in water after each stroke.

Its been a while since I tried foam. I also dislike putting chemicals on my skin so when I found that hot water works (ie a soak in the shower) it became a no brainer.

Three blades feels like a heavy fisted approach. IMO just 1 blade is required dependant on the stubble. You can even go in for a second pass if you want a closer shave. The precision of controlling the angle of one blade just makes more sense to me than trying to get an array of 3 blades to conform to the curvature of your skin

The foam makes it glide over your face making it easier to shave and often a closer shave with less irritation, water just softens your hairs. Completely different things, not sure how that makes it a no brainer. It's accepted that the ideal method involves both.

1 blade is fine if it's a high quality blade (aka not the bic disposable plastic shavers).

I think you need to be more specific about what chemicals you put on your skin, I mean I assume you wash your face with harsh chemicals, as not sure what else you could wash your face with. You know water is a chemical right?

My $30 murker or how ever its spelt does that. I use pears soap and a brush for foam.

    $112. LOL.

    • This or a QSHAVE/Ming Shi 2000S?

      • My Aldi razor works fine. I forgot how much it was, but I think a little less than $112.

  • Bought one in their original Kickstarter campaign and wasn't that impressed. Not sure if it's just a single razor thing or them specifically though. Also, I think they updated their design since the first one so might have improved…

I went back to my Mack3 and use a cut throat for all my borders etc..

    • They did have multiple issues with the first batch, you're correct. They had a few new models come through which have well and truly fixed those original issues. I haven't had one complaint about them so far in the 2 years i've been selling them!

      • Yeah I think they sent me out a free updated version and still wasn't sure why I was using that over my Mack3.

I'm glad to hear people are happy as the company seemed good - it just wanst my cup of tea.

  • Why is this razor so expensive? Don't you usually just buy a $10 one from woolies? Excuse my ignorance if anyone can explain.

  • Just bought this for €3:

If I were to use the same blades should I expect a different result? Honest question, not sure how much difference the razor (holder?) makes.

    • I noticed the adjustability plates for different closeness. I'm not sure what else but would like to know more as well.

  • I have the 6c version which is exactly same design as this just not ss for cheaper price.
