I'm after a dust cover for a 65 inch tv LCD, I notice there are plenty of outdoor ones that are waterproof etc but I'm looking for something more indoors.
Moving into another property our cinema room is open plan and yes like most TVs are up on wall but as it's a rental I can't but I just want to keep my sons hands off the screen if he happens to explore of courses keeping an eye on him etc. yes could place a blanket or something over it but want something more permanent when not in use.
I'm surprised m not finding covers yes below 65" but not for that size.
The outdoor ones would work but surely there is indoor ones more suited more lightweight but does the job. I have looked on bay but I'm not sure where else to search.

What cover they are all outdoor ones waterproof etc its for indoor.
Covering the tv back panel air vents is a bad idea.
Why is that a bad idea tv would be switched off at mains and cover removed when in use?
They sell outdoor ones to protect from dust, rain drops etc if i wanted one for outdoors i would have thought it was a good idea. But im looking more for indoors something thinner etc.Removing the tv cover every time one wants to use the tv is inconvenient.
What you're after is a fitted sheet made for your screen right? So buy some fabric (Spotlight, or at a pinch buy a sheet from op-shop for a few bucks).
Take fabric to a clothing alterations shop with TV dimensions and ask them to knock up a cover (they'll have plenty of elastic). If the edge of the cover just wraps around the very edge of screen, then chance of covering vents will be reduced.
What happens when said son pulls on the cotton pull over cover and pulls the TV onto himself. He dead. Ain't nobody got time for that.
Make sure you got contents accident cover, at least the tv gets replaced
Could you ask him not to touch the screen? (Dad of a 4 year old, with a 65” hisense 65n7 in living area)
He thinks its a huge ipad or at least with our older tv he does which is fixed to a glass stand.
Our current house has a door to cinema room which he never bothers to go in but i have a latch to put on door that stops him should it be a problem.
Our previous place had a baby gate which stopped him getting even in that room.
But this new place we going to the cinema is open plan and enterence into room is way bigger than a gate.
If tv is not on most likely he not go near it but just thought a slip on cover of some sort when not in use would be a good idea.I got you fam - TV Cover
