I tried to Price Beat an Apple Watch sold by Kogan with OfficeWorks and OW refused to price match saying Kogan import their stuff, and they don't price beat kogan. I was told by a lady over the phone from OW. Is it true? Anyone had a similar experience?
Kogan is grey import, so no price beat.
Odd how the item is a Chinese made item so OW must import it also?

OW said Kogan import the products by themselves, and the warranty is covered by Kogan even though Kogan website says the warranty is covered by Apple! Didn't mention grey import or anything.
To be fair, if I ran a business I wouldn't price match HK grey imports either.
Officeworks have an official policy communication they emailed to all staff this year, which explain the rules around price matching with Kogan. I was explicitly told about the existence of this email when matching against Kogan in January this year.
If the product is shown on the page as sold by Kogan Australia P/L, is indicated as Australian stock, and a manufacturers warranty for Australia; then as long as all other PMG conditions are met, the price should be matched.
If you have an issue, simply ask to speak with a Store Manager; and don’t hesitate to leave feedback using the online link after completing the transaction (address for it on the receipt, and a poster normally displayed near/at/in the entrance).
