Every1 looking to order please dont assume that there are no problems with customs. Cuz there are. Proteins of any sort will not be allowed in. also a lot of plant and other animal containing supplements wont be allowed in. you need to check the TGA website

Most products which will be seized by customs will not be shipped by Bodybuilding.com. As part of the checkout process, they'll check your shipping destination and stop you from sending items that are prohibited in that country.

All products containing whey cannot be sent (apparently some are allowed with proper documentation re: egg content under a % threshold but I've never really looked into this). Obviously some things like yohimbine cannot be sent as they are banned.

For those after cheaper BCAA's and preworkout compounds, these can be imported without issue.

      • yes exactly right with the whey and yohimbine. Is the check of shipping destination at the checkout process a new thing? i ordered a few months ago and didnt see any thing like that.

    • Be careful ordering Optimum Nutrition (ON)

      • What do you mean by that? Can you elaborate/

      • Do you know if customs will seize Optimum Nutrition - Optimen? (It's a multivitamin)

        • +2

You'll have no problems importing ON Multi's.

        • Thanks Surreality, how about Optimum Nutrition's Fish Oil?

I don't know if this is still current, but years ago I tried to order ON and customs seized it because it contains unspecified enzymes in the form of "Aminogen" as a digestive aid. But I don't think it matters, I'm pretty sure bodybuilding.com won't even ship protein to Australia (that may have changed too).

Bodybuilding.com always has this type of special. Check http://www.bodybuilding.com/comebackdiscount.htm for the latest discount code for 10% off.

    • Usual discount is usual.

Be prepared for regular shipping to take 6 weeks. I recently did an order for some Jack3d and my mates did seperate orders for other things and yeh, took a while! Customs go through it with a fine toothed comb.

If you go the faster shipping it's only like a week though

Happy to wait, considering price is AWESOME!!!

I've recently realised I get everything from Body Science Australia online for half price, so I've moved to their products as the prices are around the same as BodyBuilding.com for similar products, shipping is quick and it's Australian :)

But still, BB.com is good. They have great customer service

The shipping kind of kills it though.
Super Saver (8-20 Business Days) $73.86 for some protein and creatine. Bit excessive isn't it?

    • Can't import the protein anyway.
