Always in my wishlist and finally got it yesterday when the price finally drop. Not sure if DELIVERY50 is working, and you can try cashrewards. I just visit the store. The box fits my small suv, the lady helped me to bring the box with the trolley to the car, you probably can install this by yourself like I did, need 2 adjustable wrenches for the last 2 bolts though.

Or an expensive coat hanger after 2 months…

    • Clothesline.

    • I'm now using mine to hang clothes inside when it rains, very handy.

    • Yes perfect for winter

Any idea how high the chin up hand grips are? Trying to gauge how much I'd have to raise my feet at the bottom of the chin up rep.

    • 215 cm from the floor

      • Cool thanks. Decent height.

I use the corner of my kitchen benches.

it's free and already in place.

plus I have the facilities right in front of me to make my protein shake after my maxxxxtreme work out.

for this amount or less, you can get a half rack off ebay which includes barbell rack, where you can do bench or squat. way better value for money.

    • What's the quality like on eBay gym equipment? I've been looking into making a small home gym with eBay gift cards but can't find anything regarding build quality.

      • You have to be careful because a power cage or squat rack is a piece of safety equipment - you have to have confidence it will bear the weight and handle the kinds of abuse you will throw at it. You have to look at welds & joins in particular, but you're not going to know if it's a problem until you get one to assemble it.
That said, if you're a beginner, a $300 Aldi set will probably do you just fine for a few years at least, and if you're not looking to lift heavy should last about forever. I have a cheap one I've had up to 140kg on, which is absolutely the limit of my comfort with that piece of equipment. The welds joining all the cross pieces together started to get a little flimsy, meaning it allowed a bit of side-to-side movement which could have been catastrophic, so I just reinforced it with a couple of pine planks and some bolts.
Cheaper means being more aware of what you're using and possibly having to MacGuyver up a workaround here and there. The alternative is to spend about $800 on something better grade.

The squat rack is the worst thing for squatting.

Assuming it can hold your weight, can your finger withstand the weight of a failed rep when it is between the barbell and the rack?

          Food for thought.

(I just drop the weight but then again, I have bumper plates).

  • Buy gymnastics rings and bolt eye hooks into the ceiling. For under 50 bucks you can do all your pull ups/dips/leg raises etc. And the best part is that they're so portable you can just take them any where there's a beam to hang them from

  • I have got a thicker one. If any one looking for in sydney. I will pass it cheaper than that
