The Kogan Data Reception Has Been Terrible Recently

Greetings OZbargain,

I live in Brisbane in a suburb 6 mins from the CBD and work at Brisbane airport.

I've been using Kogan Mobile for more than 2 years and both at home and at work the 4G data reception was always strong and snappy.

In the past 7 days or so, the reception keeps getting weak. I have 1 or 2 bars (out of 4) in the reception indicator on my Galaxy S9+ and it takes ages to load content or sometimes it doesn't even load at all so I have to switch to wifi.

Has the Vodafone network been having problems lately? Has anyone else been experiencing this in Brissy or anywhere else in Australia? I'm so pissed off I'm considering switching to Boost right now.

    Sorry to hear! :( No problem here in Vic, I actually use both Boost and Vodafone/Kogan and often Vodafone/Kogan is faster than Boost.

    Wireless Connections - Beautiful one day, shitehouse the next :( (and vice versa)

      I'm also in Canberra and I lose all connection when I walk into Canberra Centre Coles. Not sure if this is new as I've only noticed it recently. Do you get the same issue?

        I haven't gone to that Coles in a while but all Coles' (or any groceries supermarket) is known to kill network connectivity so don't worry too much about it

          Same exp with no Telstra connection in one Coles, but have Vodafone/Optus connection.
