Recommendations for a Monitor

Hello guys!

I’m looking for a computer monitor that I can connect to my laptop or pc for office use ( documents editing- emails - browsing etc) no gaming for me.

  • Budget? It's hard to beat an IPS panel for productive work.

2560 x 1080 not very good for 35 inches. You should get the 3440 x 1440 resolution at the very minimum, but it will cost you a bit more.

3440 x 1440 gives you plenty of space to open up to 3 windows. You won't go back to 1080p once you go 1440p.

  • If your budget can stretch a bit further get something like this

As Scrimshaw said, 1080p on a monitor like that isn't fun, everything just feels too large and depending on your eyes and how close you sit, can look a bit pixelated. I've used a 35" 2560x1080 and a 35" 3440x1440 and it's night and day. I actually hated the 35" 2560x1080 and swapped back to a 1440p monitor. The extra pixels of a 3440x1440 can be great in office work especially if you deal with spreadsheets or have multiple documents open as it allows you to fit so much more on the screen.

If that's too much money, go for a 32" 1440p screen.
