My housemate is looking to buy a bunch of pairs of socks. She'd love it if they basically wouldn't wear out and get holes. She also wants them to be cheap, if possible, or at least a good price for what they are. And it would be an added bonus if you could get funky patterns.
I'm aware of Bombas (although I don't know anything about them) and I've also suggested Darn Tough Vermont, but in my experience they've become a lot more expensive to get in Australia. Any other suggestions?
Globe make good socks with funky patterns and really good quality/durable. I use them as work socks (on my feet all day).
I think I got them from surfstitch (or similar store) for $5 each during a sale. Not exactly cheap, but worth it.
