RRP used to be $120, so $90 is a vast improvement and puts Australian prices close to, if not equal, with American prices.
been meaning to get Attila thank OP.
When is 75% off not 75% off… When your buying video games.
I really think publishers should move to a decaying pricing model, $120 for a game at launch (I think too high but that's what they are trying to push), $90 a month after launch maybe even up to 3 months, then $60 after 6 months perhaps a year, then $30 after two years, $15 after three, and then $5 from then on.
Some do get that cheap but there are always exceptions to the rule and companies will always try to abuse this.
That’s exactly what they’re doing. Except the cost decreases with demand not time. If it’s high in demand price stays high.
They don’t go lower than 75% off (some do), because they don’t want to completely devalue their product.
When you see games go to the humble monthly it’s usually games that are about the $12-15 range anyway on key sites which are close to the current wholesale price.
66% off Warhammer II $30.59
That seems more like a base price by now, have to wait for a better deal I think
Was $4 at EB Games a couple of months back.
That was a steal whoever managed to nab that.
Civilization 6 Deluxe was also $4 but probably only a few.
Absolute bargains.
90$ RRP seems so ridiculous.
