Wouldn't be very stealthy if it was clicky
Clicky
Appears to be Razer Orange, so tactile quiet, like MX Brown. 45g springs, 1.9mm actuation point. If you bottom out hard that'll be the source of most of the noise.
They are not quiet at all. been using razer orange for over a year.
they are quieter then razer greens if it helps
That's why I mention bottoming out, the switch itself shouldn't make much noise but the impact when the key is fully depressed with some force will always be fairly loud, particularly for MX style keyboards not used with o-rings on the keycaps as dampers. Razer happens to sell an "enhancement kit" which is a bunch of o-rings that you could also just find on eBay for a few bucks.
For them to be quiet, you have to press the switch far enough to pass the actuation point but not hard enough to slam the keycap all the way into the switch. I find 45g to be too light myself for that reason (I type fairly heavy), and prefer a heavier switch so that it's not as easy to bottom out.
The Razer Green is a clicky switch, so it will be louder as the switch itself clicks as well as however hard you bottom out (which may not be as hard given it's a 50g switch).
@ethan961: hmm, semi agree, they are quite loud regardless even with 2 orings.
@sushimaster: Not saying you're wrong - on the contrary, I'm saying most MX keyboards are loud even with "quiet" switches because it's loud when you bottom out regardless of the switch, and how a "quiet" switch doesn't fix that. O-rings help, but as you know, only to an extent. Only way is to not bottom out. And it's not directed to you specifically, just wanted to share some insight to anyone who's searching for a "quiet" keyboard.
@ethan961: Not saying you are wrong as well man, just giving my opinion as well. The biggest issue is for those razor switches, all the keys feel very different from each other
Shame! Vic's pick up not available as Mt Waverley under renovations. Nice deal, thanks OP!
No rgb
No RGB, but good price. :)
Stealth hence no RGB! You guys ever seen an RGB ninja
Only on the dance floor.
lol I logged in just to upvote this
Jesus that website is horrible. Even with uBlock i still get at least 5 ads.
If this was a human being, I'd shoot it in the face.

Trust me, you really don't want to see an RGB ninja…
WOWOWOW that's a great price
How much is delivery
$13 to VIC
plus %1.3 payment fee….:(
Add them together kills this deal
Great price for a brand name mech.
ugh… what with no num pad keyboards….
Friend, at LAN tournaments you hay have limited desk space so this is what these are orientated towards. Thats why some pros angle their keyboard as well.
10 keyless Quite common because most people don’t use the numeric keypad
Speak for yourself, my password is mostly numbers I use it!
@montorola: ditto!
@montorola: If you tell us your password, we'll try to find you an applicable keyboard to suit your needs.
Is this orange or green key?
Amazon listing for same model has green switches.
What's the equivalent with Cherry?
All the listing of the model number is showing orange for me. I'll get one and see haha. Don't wanna be so clicky in the office.
Don't wanna be so clicky in the office.
At least everyone will know you're doing work for once =p
@montorola: Or the opposite….
Razer greens are basically cherry blues (the clicky one)
Razer oranges are basically cherry browns (the quieter one - still got a bit of click to it tho)
Yes.
Razer BlackWidow Tournament Edition Stealth = Orange
Razer BlackWidow Tournament Edition = Green
Bargain - got one - thanks OP
got me one. cheers OP
got one, and just realised it doenst have numpad, ;)
Lol @ the wink
just email them to cancel the order. ;) order cancelled within minutes, great support. !! excellent.
;)
No numpad on this, just keep in mind before impulsively hitting buy.
Was going to buy for work as want to update from the bodgy one but then luckily I noticed this one lacks a numpad?? Great deal though.
Use the number rows.
Yeah nah
Never used my numpad for anything including work.
What do you use the numpad for?
@Letrico: To enter numbers…?
@humbala: Use the number rows…?
@Letrico: Nah yeah
@Letrico: Have you tried entering your credit card details using the number pad and number row?
I feel like you're trolling at this point.
@Caped Baldy: Very serious. I do not use my numpad at all including entering my credit card details. Not to mention I am a developer as well and found 0 need to use the numpad. I can type the number much faster on the number row since I can reach them with both my hands as I type instead of pressing the numpad keys with one finger one by one.
Why do I want to type numbers one at a time with the numpad when I can just breeze typing simultaneously using the number row? Even typing alpha numeric texts is much faster using number rows.
EDIT:
I always thought the numpad only make sense to the older generation that grew up using calculator since it is the design they are most familiar with. That might be why?
@Letrico: If you're adept at using the numpad, you use more than one finger just as you should in theory for the rest of the keyboard. There's also the ability to use it with only your left hand while the right is on the mouse, manipulating documents, etc. and you have easy one hand access to operands and decimals as needed.
That said, I do agree that it's not a mandatory feature. We're probably quick at using the number row because that's what we always use, so it makes sense that it seems painful to someone who primarily uses the numpad just as the numpad is unnecessary to us. I do not doubt at all that it's possible to be faster at number entry with the numpad if your work is such that takes advantage of its features, but simple things like CC details and probably a fair amount of programming are perfectly usable with the number row. Kind of a silly argument I think, nothing wrong with using the numpad if you like it as it does have uses and advantages.
@ethan961: I agree, the numpad exist for a reason and I am more curious on what people actually use it for because I do not find it useful at all and cumbersome in my daily use and work but all I get are vague responses like am I trolling or yeah nah.
No one seems to know what their numpad is for except putting CC details?
@Letrico: Entering numbers/quick access to the operator buttons. As someone who touch types, it's vastly quicker to use the numpad then to use the number row.
@Letrico: Good for using ALT codes

the greatest reminder of all time! haha
bought one, thanks OP
There is a 1.5% fee $0.53 with Paypal and credit cards
Debit/cash on pickup
RIP WA :(
No RGB means LAN parties are 2.3% less fun.
DAMN. This price is too good but be careful, its a 2014 model and has higher-risk of the double-register problem.
Waiting for something useful like this.
Solid keyboard. While it says its "silent keys", its not actually silent, just slightly quieter than the average mechanical keyboard. I sold mine as I wanted something with an wrist/palm rest.
Mechanical and silent, yeah nah
got one. Thanks
Bought 10 thank you
What are you going to do with 10 keyboards?
1 for each finger
Yes
No more VIC store. Apparently the Mt Waverley is having a renovation.
No rgb no deal lol
Shame it doesn't have backlit keys. But $35 for something better than the Velocifire mechanical with Outemu brown switches I bought from ebay for $50.
Hopefully i don't need the backlit keys as much as i think.$69 now
This is a once off and will run until the 24th of April….
or for 2 hours and 49 minutes…rofl
Ozbargained, Whoomp there it is.
That should teach them a lesson… unless they have over 10mil+ stock, exclude "Eneloop"
the ozbargain noobs
"This is a once off and will run until the 24th of April" …….SOLD OUT
At this price why not - but why do people keep buying Razer?
It's priced appropriately at least.
Don't know but I am using razer keyboard and mouse. Been using Razer since 10 years ago and never really changed since but I have a logitech g300s for work.
already out of stock lol
Is this going to be restocked? Kind of sucks given the long 24th April running date gives the impression it would stick around for a bit longer than a day
Looks like it's back in stock! Well it let me order one anyway…
Good deal! I have the big one from this era. I like it better than the Corsair K95 (browns) and K70(reds). The razer switches feel a bit better
Yeah its back in stock, someone change the thing
Thanks. I just got one. I missed out the last time.
I will use it once my current Blackwidow Ultimate BF4 2013 packs it in.
Showing as Sold out again
Ozbargained yet again.
Just wondering if anyone ever received their order? placed my order Apr 8, 2019 at 3:22 PM and been told every week the stock will be ready in 3-5 days and now my order has been cancelled.
All they say is no stock even though they told me stock is allocated for my order last week. Anyone has similar issue?
I got mine delivered on 12th.
when did you order? It looks like they stuffed up my order and don't want to admit it. This caused me to miss a lot of other possible deals during the last 2 weeks.
Just checked my email and I ordered on the 8th.
@Letrico: What they are saying is that even though you placed the order successfully, doesn't mean you will get it, they prioritise the order for stock allocation, which barely make sense as I ordered quite early (before they ran out of stock and re-stocked again). Even then I don't think they should let people order it if they don't have enough stock.
All I get from them is "What do you want?"
I am wondering if it is my problem from the beginning to order a bargain from them?

Are these the clicky or silent keys?
