This was mentioned briefly by fellow member @Selenium, The Data Sim in these units has expired so there is a big discount on these.
Receipt has been uploaded for anyone who would like to try to Price Match with OW.

Yeah locked from what I can see. Happen to have one from awhile ago.
Not sure how hard they are to unlock, by from experience Optus is a lot easier than Telstra.
Relatively easy to unlock feel free to message me if you need help, or you can find your way through the rabbit hole of Russian forums yourself
Haha nah yeah, stuck my hand in the rabbit hole but decided against it… Didn't need mine unlocked in the end.
I think Optus is free unlock anyway if you've recharged over $80 on prepaid or something.
How do you tell if it's an 'EG fuel' owned Woolworth's Caltex?
If you see Woolworth at the shop, you are at the right place, if you see star mart, turn around.
As of April 1st, we all are. We'll still all be displaying the same Woolworths Caltex signage for now anyway, so it's still the same place but just different owners.
Will you all take egift card?
Yeah. Woolies physical and digital cards are accepted as usual. Same with Rewards cards. Nothing is really changing for the consumer at all, it's mostly us staff getting fricked over.
Sorry to hear that. I thought that there were two tiers of stores with the woolies symbol. As a consumer there were the ones that would take egift and the ones that wouldn't :-)
So it should be available at all woolworths fuel stations?
Same price, yes. Whether they have stock or not, can't say. If they do, they'll be happy to sell them.
The lady had to go to the back storage room and dig out a box of these modems. She got curious and asked me how I'd know these are on discount.
Ha, no doubt! We've had these in stock for a VERY long time and have long put them in the back. It's not exactly an item someone turns up to a servo for..
Or all the prepaid dumb phones we get saddled with.
@Selenium: Did you used to sell the $2 voda sims? We used to get people come in and clean out the entire display.
@ssquid: Huh, really? Ours never sell, we have a ton. We don't really sell any sim cards actually.
But yeah, they haven't been deleted so most stores should have them. The way we get phone related stock is weird, sporadic and nothing we ever ask for though. So you might find your store will one day randomly have them again.
I'm in NSW, will OW price match if the company is interstate?
Could just say that you were at Mt Ommaney a couple of days ago for work if they question it.
Should be fine though
Date on the receipt is 8.Apr.2019.
Could've rented a car, filled up and flown back within the past few hours
@CC123: Well. That makes sense. :)
Any included data/value?
No, that's why they're cheap - the included data has expired.
Any luck for anybody? Walked into a central coast store and they had none
Does any happen to know if they're locked to Optus?
