Hi all,
So I recently moved and won't be able to get the nbn connection at my new place for a currently unspecified amount of time, no estimate given as yet. So I figured I'd upgrade my normally data-stingy Amaysim 1gb $10/month plan to something with a lot more data to get me through. I know a lot of companies do intro offers where your first month is either cheaper or has bonus data, so I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions. Nothing that locks me in as I'll drop back to a cheap plan once my internet is sorted. I'm genuinely not sure how much I need, basically hoping for as much data as possible for a somewhat reasonable price.
Vodafone network is no good to me where I live, both Optus and Telstra are fine.
I clearly don't know a lot about this so any help is much appreciated. Thank you.
Edit: or any other suggestions in terms of short term internet solutions I may not have thought of. Cheers.
Best option for high data mobile SIM only plan-short term while no nbn

Or these if you prefer the Vodafone network: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/394895
Edit: Oops, just saw VF is no good for you. Definitely Catch Connect then
can you use this in a 4G modem or do you put into your mobile and hotspot?
Kogan 90 days/20GB/$14.90.
Thank you! Will go with Catch. Is it pretty easy to port in and out with them? I thought I'd heard some people having difficulties.
Don't port in/port out.
Buy a new SIM each time you run out of data.
Best combined with a cheap 4G modem such as this one, which can be had for $20 on special: https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/optus-alca…
Just get a couple of these and throw the sim away when the data is used up?
