Greetings
Got an old pc from my brother but without the graphics card. Looking for something I can get locally in Perth for approx $200.
The pc has an i7 from like 5 years ago and 8gb ram already.
Which card would be suitable?

I was thinking that, I guess MSY would be the best place to buy it? Don't mind buying online actually if they have express post and it's a bargain
Austins is expensive. MSY is cheaper but 40km drive. PLE appears a good compromise.
Probably second hand might be the best bet. Rx580 or gtx 1060 can be had for $200
Rather not, had bad experience with something unrelated off gumtree. Graphics card are more delicate and would like to avoid opening/closing the pc.
don't be afraid of pc and components
pc are more robust/reliable than your phone or car
if you had a chance to look at those handling pc assembly everyday, you might be shocked as if they're making sandwiches
used pc market are huge
$200 secondhand via gumtree or facebook market place will get you a GTX 1060 6gb at best.. you might be able to score a GTX 1050 Ti 4gb.. don't settle for anything below a GTX 1050 otherwise you are getting ripped off.
Vet out the seller and check pictures closely.. if you really want to ask them to run the card in a benchmark and send photos with their name or your word of choosing on a piece of paper. It is not 100% foolproof but if they are willing to go through more steps then it is more likely it is legitimate where as if they give excuses or are lazy to cooperate with you then it is a scammer or someone not worth dealing with imho unless you like to throw away money and pray and gamble.. which I have done in the past before with steam gift cards and failed miserably but that was a costly social experiment on my behalf.
