$17 for a dozen glazed delivered isn't bad at all. Would pick up but the closest store is 40 minute drive :/

So someone from your closest store gonna drive 40min to you for $5 ???

      • Delivery is $5.

        • Yes I read that. Wanted to clarify is some staff member gonna drive 40mins just to deliver to you, or they have delivery truck that goes around? LOL

          • @capslock janitor: Oh you're being serious. No, it's a delivery truck that has a delivery schedule.

            • @Frayin: Looks like in-store only? How you gon' process the delivery order for $17?

              • @capslock janitor: That good sir is a good question. The answer? I will not be lol.

Didn't take in the in-store only part. Alas, no doughnuts for me.

  • Not related to this post but WA Hay street new store is giving free donuts.

    • +1

      SEND IT

    • I did partake in a free donut.

    • Yep got one yesterday and went back for another one today!

  • Not a bad price.

Do we have any secret signals or codewords to spot fellow members there? or when I walk into the store should I just shout out OZBARGAIN!

    • +1

Just say WOOF and I'll know it;s you!

edit: or start howling once you step inside!

    • +1

Just keep shouting OZBARGAIN! again and again. Over and over. Until something happens.

      • We should create a chant… or an anthem….or some sort of bat/bargain signal

  • This will make me feel a bit better after that stupid Hot Cross promo at 711.

If only they had a store closer to Sydney Town Hall. Going to Central Station is a bit of pain.

    No love for SA….

    Good price!

These are so crazy unhealthy though - sugar & oil bomb.

  • Not healthy at all and also the oil they use to make it is not butter.

    • they use palm oil ….so besides high in transfats and saturated fat also promotes deforestation ….. wouldn’t cost much more to use sunflower oil.

in the usa they don’t use as much palm oil as australia as they have laws on transfats in food …

butter would be ridiculously expensive ….growing population and drought so butter is getting more expensive.

  • Not healthy at all and also the oil they use to make it is not butter. check their ingredients. you will not want to touch it again.

    • if they got rid of palm oil i would be happy to make the donuts part of my daily balanced diet.

Haven't visited the store since I was dressed as a pirate (it was 12 donuts for free then).
    Those were the days. Arrrrrrrh.

Is a BP Travel Centre a fancy term for servo?

  • For those without a store too close, they're also doing 2 dozen for $29.95.

  • My colleague bought a dozen and shared them in office. Great deal for Friday. Just ate half, too sweet.

    • +1

Half a donut or half the dozen?

      • +2

        half the dozen probably

  • +2

I really thought its a clearer picture of that super massive Blackhole

  • Ah bugger, all the NSW stores are in Sydney. Doesn't cover 7-Eleven or BP either.

  • Works well with my birthday on Monday end up getting 16 Doughnuts for $12.

    Winning!

Anyone in Brisbane CBD want to go halves let me know! I can't buy a dozen I have no self control.

    • I can if it's the Myer centre one between 2:30-3:30

    • Buy two dozen and then go halves.

Might as well eat all 12 if you are going to eat 6.

  • Do not eat it. They use Shortening rather than butter or vegetables oil. Bad for your health

    • Everything in moderation. Once a year (the rate at which I buy KK donuts, and donuts generally for that matter) doesn't hurt.

  • So max I can buy is 12 dozens?

    • per transaction wink* rinse and repeat.

  • Went to the Sydney Central Station store at 7.15pm after work and was told they were out of original :(.

Why do they make it so hard for people in Sydney's eastern suburbs to buy Krispy Kreme. There is a whole two stores. One near Central station, and one at Mascot airport. I am never near Central station, as I get a bus to Hyde park; and the only time I am near the airport is when we have relatives flying in.

Why would they make me it so hard for people from the relatively more affluent suburbs to buy it? It is pretty pricy, though target market would be high income earners.

    Insane Krispy Kreme management.

    • They had literally boxloads (three or four boxes to a cardboard box) when I was there twelve hours before you went.

There were some high school students buying a few boxes for their fundraising activity.

I don't think their target market is high income earners, otherwise Penrith wouldn't have been the first location for Krispy Kreme 15 years ago …

    • Mmm, I just googled all their locations. They have hardly stores in NSW, and most are at major transport hubs.

      Strange.

Muffin Break and Donut King are everywhere, but Krispy Kreme is so rare.

      • +1

Because Krispy Kreme went into voluntary administration nine years ago …
