I know it’s not the same, a foxtel sucks, etc but it’s worth keeping in mind that you can stream these on Foxtel play including the new season for $25 a month.
I tried that last season but didn't get a HD (4K) stream from Foxtel Play. Quality was terrible. Was anyone able to stream in HD?
HD would be 1080P not 4K, the only GoT available in 4K is Season 1 on UHD blurry.
And with the exception of the pilot episode, it's a remaster of 1080p content.
Many shows are still not being produced in 4K.
It might be a bit niche, but I'm already a Foxtel subscriber for sport and called up asking to add the drama pack for GoT. I got friendly with the bloke asking who he thought was going to end up on the throne and all that - he gave me drama for $10/m. With it only lasting 6 episodes, I'm only going to be out $20 to have the full back catalogue, behind the scenes and other exclusive stuff as well as season 8 ready the second it broadcasts. Well worth an ask for anyone already on the foxtrain.
It's 6 episodes (6 Weeks) followed by a 2 Hour behind the scenes Documentary of Season 8 airing Week 7 on HBO. Foxtel better be showing that too.

Though I find the sound is stereo only, I have a chromecast as well so usually will switch to that instead.
I usually cast to Chromecast from the YouTube app. Are you saying the quality is better from the Google Play Movies app? Or iTunes?
