Very good phone… the March April fix all thr bugs in these phone
What bugs were there? I had one of these up until a couple of months ago, and I never experienced any issues?
Random restart underload….. and screen sensitivity (misstype or undertype) alot….
but these all fix… with March Update
on Plus side the GCAM has full function with backrider .apk (similar as google pixel 3 output) very good picture quality than Nokia stock Apps…
As mentioned on previous deal, this model appears to be the one affected by security breaches:
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-finland-telecoms/finland-…
The security update reportedly stops the personal data going to shady servers but I'm not sure if you can update before entering the personal data. Otherwise a really appealing phone for the specs.
Who even cares? I'm certainly not that interesting.
Nah.. its fix and only certain batch (only about 10-20) of phones affected
allegedly the problem was these international version of phones they were incorrectly installed with version that meant to be installed in Chinese version of the phones..
another "theory" from reddit said some people in international are buying the Chinese version of the phone and they activated in the West.. and they thought the chinese version is the same… and when the data transmit to Chinese server.. they complain
is a manufactures error… and by accidental.. but at least is fix.
I bought this phone from China a year ago for $370.. I load all of the updates via sdcard. surprised it's still holding price.
This is a great mid-range phone. Best I've had for years. Be gentle with its USB socket. It does seem to loosen over time. I've stopped using my phone when it's plugged in to try to reduce the strain on the socket.
Android One, band 28, nfc and mine is now running android 9 (pie) with march security update, mine is australian stock.
