happy with Kogan for a year on M plan. just port to Boost this morning, better deal.

    • same here..kogan M plan expiring today.

      • similar here, our BOGOF deal is going to expire 1st May, Kogan is stupid and not giving us same deal to recharge and stay on, time to say goodbye and switch to boost, Telstra here I come!

  • looks like Boost hit harder to Kogan… sim without deals is nothing for me…

    • Which Boost deal is good?

  • +2

free sims? why not..? just wait for good deals instead of wait for sims..

    • what do you do when there is a deal and you have a $0 sim sitting in the drawer? please comment.

      • You just get the deal, use the Sim you've got during activation and then you'll have a spare one when the next one comes in the mail.

  • Thanks OP. Ordered 2

  • Says 'OFFICE USE ONLY' on the order page. Will be interesting to see if they get delivered. In any case, thanks OP.

A month or so back I ordered some of the "OFFICE USE ONLY" sims and they arrived really quickly - they use eParcel express post so it'll arrive in a day or so.

      • how many did u get?

        • When I got them I got 2 sets of 5 and about a week later I got another set of 5.
So 15 total. Never got questioned.

  • thanks OP… I ordered 5

  • Anyway to activate without recharge?

    • I'm not sure for Logan but you can do that with the free telstra Sims and they arrive quick.

      • Been blocked from Telstra online activation lol, good for other people though

        • How did you get blocked?

          • +5

@Mibo: Activated 100s of starter kits when they were $5-15 and able to be used for Google Play. Was definitely worth it :)

            • @realfancyman: So like are you banned from ever being a telstra mobile customer?

              • @KBZ: No, just online activation. Have to go in-store, call or use live chat which kind of makes it hard to bulk activate starter kits.

  • Man, hopefully they have another yearly deal, mine is running out!!!!!!

  • Great refreshing taste.

Mine is running out too.. thinking of boost now.

  • I'm getting page not found. Kogan must have blocked this deal.

The original link is dead, but this one still seems to be working.

    • Yup seems to work, or at least the order processed.

Avoid Kogan. The Plans are cheap, but the data speeds you get are also garbo. Less than 1 Mbps during peak hours. When non-peak hours, your data speeds are capped at 7-8 Mbps.

It's only 50$ more to get much, much better service with another provider like Boost Mobile - 300$/12 months + 240GB/12 months - This is assuming you're getting Kogan's 365, 20 gb/month plan.

Only good for kids or people that don't need a lot of data/urgent use of data.

This is a generalization and may, or may not apply to everyone else across the country. It depends what the network is like in your location/tower (which can change with the very next cell tower your phone locks onto).

Also, just because data is slow, doesn't mean calls are hindered. In fact that's why the data is the first thing to slow - to preserve call quality. (So wait 30 minutes and try again. Data may have sped up again.)

And if they find an area is constantly saturated - that is the only time they'll bother upgrading it - so it's your civic duty to hammer it more in those times in such areas, LOL. ;-p

Yeah, kids, and only a little bit of data… Like my last 7 weeks for example. Where I burned through 7x 40GB SIMs plus 2x of my usual months of 100GB Optus data - for a total usage of 480GB - a lot of which was me downloading several 1GB files simultaneously that completed in the time to take a shower. ;-D

That comment is garbage. My partner and I have been swapping between Lebara and Kogan for a few years now and the speeds are really good. It all depends on your location.

      • Yep, mine has been good too, early in the morning at 6am, it is super lightning download speed, but 8pm weeknights quite damn slow, for $12.5/mth with 13gb, I really cannot complain at all. Hope switching across to boost will be fast whole day.

  • Is anyone actually going to recieve these SIM cards?

    • Nyeeeehhhh yeah … why do you ask? Every Kogan order are always fulfilled.

    • Yep, received all of mine.

  • My order just shipped. Looking good.

  • still waiting for someone who moved to boost to tell us how cheap it is. Last time I checked it was more than 2x the price..

Voda is good in the city but once you hit the country its hopeless.
