  Got the 65" version of this tv for $800 last year, great unit for the price. Be aware that the 55" is slightly more of a matte finish compared to the 65" which is completely glossy.

  I have the 43 inch version of this TV in my spare room and it's a piece of junk. The blacks are washed out, the apps are limited and rubbish, and the HDR is a sick joke.

    Common trait of IPS panels along with lower contrast compared to VA panels, especially noticeable in dark viewing environments.

    IPS is fine if viewing in a bright room, also has wider viewing angle over VA.

    Remember to turn on auto brightness (or whatever it's called, I'll check when I get home), it basically automatically dims the display when the picture is mostly dark or black showing you an OLED like black (on the glossy 65" anyway)
