This is probably stating the obvious, but I thought I would mention it
Even if there is a clause in the T&C in a "deal" it does not mean it is a)legal b)enforceable
Lets take for example an easy example - If I go to a shop and buy something and the sign says "no returns", I can still bring it back if its faulty
even if they tell me verbally that I cannot return it
So its worth asking yourself
1) can I buy a product from one party, but be told I have to seek a refund from the second party? - why would I if I have no contract with them?
2) can I buy a product that on use is misrepresented and be told I cannot get a refund because I have used it?
3) can I buy a product that is not fit for purpose and be refused a refund?
Just because a merchant tells you something is true, it does not make is so!
