I've been looking at getting an air purifier for my apartment as i live close to a main road, this brought me to start researching split air cons that might offer a built in air purifier, since my current split system could probably do with an upgrade. Does such a thing exist? I saw a Samsung model that made some small claims about air purification but not much in the way of dedicated HEPA filters.

Get yourself a xiaomi air purifier instead, the wifi version and you can schedule it to come on/off etc as required.
The filters built into the split systesma re TINY and clog very quickily and don't clean the air like the standalone xiaomi air purifier does.
Thanks i have had a look at those purifiers also, there's just so many on the market it's hard to tell what products are good and which are not.

Got some of these Panasonic installed recently in the bedrooms, has an air purifying system might be worth looking into.
