Been waiting for this one to drop below $350. It has been listed at $395 with Harvey for a while now.
I haven't heard these but according to reviews are a very good mid-priced soundbar.

If it’s for your main system i would say yes. Sub helps to give it quite a powerful sound.
I bought one in their last soundbar sale and was sufficiently unimpressed I took it back
The yas207? Did you get a different soundbar? Interested in your thoughts
TLDR; "Yas! The Yamaha YAS-207 is the budget soundbar you want"
I’ve been happy with mine, sounds better than my old 5.1 although admittedly that wasn’t a high end system. Great sound for the price. ‘Clear Voice’ feature works really well to amplify the dialogue in movies without making the louder sounds over the top. I’d recommend it, especially at $345.
I've YAS108 and its good for the price ($176) I paid…
Any idea how this compares to the Sony HXF9000?
Thanks OP, claimed price protection. I got this when it was $495 for the inlaws. It's great at filling a room with sound, and provides a decent cinematic experience.
Given their small open plan lounge/kitchen, it delivers. (Approx 8m x 4m)
Was well worth it then, at this price it is a steal.
It is worth noting that the subwoofer that comes with the YAS-207 is a 6.5-inch compact sub which reaches down to 40hz.
The Cerwin Vega compact sub in a deal I posted will pack slightly more punch and extension (35hz) due to an 8-inch driver.
Especially when paired with a YAS-10# series.
Also the Cerwin Vega sub ($161) and the YAS-108 ($159) could be had for a combined price of $320 when purchasing at the right time.did you end up getting the Cerwin Vega? how does it go?
I am still yet to purchase a subwoofer. One of my eyes is on a particular sub, but the other keeps saying you don’t need one (save your money).
I have read some posts in forums about the Cerwin Vega XD8s and some say the bass can be quite directional (louder on the side with the woofer).
So my recommendation to anyone who is experiencing this, is to place it against the wall with the woofer facing you, or lie it down flat with the woofer facing up & the port facing you (May need to place some isolation underneath in this orientation as there are no feet).
Is this worth approx double the price of the YAS108 which does not have external sub included?
