Just for myself.
This chair from Ikea is $99. It's been supporting me for about 14 months very comfortably. Highly recommend.
Flintan is great. I upgraded to a Markus not long ago and it's even better. Just over OP's pricerange tho.
No, the padding isn't sufficient when I sat on one. Although you could plop a cushion on it.

Go try a bunch at Officeworks? What might be suitable for one person, might not be for another. It's like asking someone what a good mattress is.
