  • Any idea of what RRP and usual price is on this?

  • Normal price was $199. Wait a few weeks and it'll come down more.

    • ..or risk it being sold out?

      • In stock at every store in my state

  • A few people at work have these. They seem ok. They do what they need to, they seem sturdy enough to hold everything (2x 24" monitors, laptop, keyboard, mouse). Although, the plastic edging falls off (a few people have tape holding it on), and the desk wobbles a bit if you put any significant force though it.

Probably a good purchase if you're unsure if you're going to keep it, buy a cheap one and upgrade to a better one if you do use it.

    • 415mm a bit low ?

      • Two of the people who have it at work are taller than myself, 6' and probably 5'10 I'd guess. One of them has some books under the monitors, but that's a monitor height preference - and it's the same whether he's sitting or standing.

  • It is an ideal solution…

We clearly have differing notions as to what constitutes 'ideal'.
A desk on a desk is not 'ideal'.

Best solution is a single level adjustable desk with a pole/clamp type monitor stand.
That's close to ideal: simple, functional, and with an uncluttered desk area.

    • Not if you don't have space at home

      • My suggestion entails one less desk.

How does that take up more space than yours?

As for the monitor stand i'm thinking of something like this - you're left with almost the whole desk for your keyboard, mouse and cup of tea.

    With a Y

  • I'm 5ft 11 and the monitor sits too low for me and ended up with sore neck.

If you are tall, recommend trying in store.

As per earlier comment the edging comes away in many places.

    • Something like this might suit you if you're using a laptop. Probably a bit light for a standard monitor.

      I'm just trying to help.
