  I was looking at this in store and the Samsung 7100 had a noticeably nicer image for a similar price.

    LG model has a lot better speakers built in as well. Since we got it we didn't need sound bar. I also hope you got them to play a video from Blue Ray on both? Just that we did these tests while buying ours and LG stood out.
