  • Is it possible to put in a dummy domain to buy now and sort that out later?

    • Hey @BaryGuesy,

For sure! - Submit a ticket when you are ready to change :)

      Thanks,

  • Do you block any ports or services like SMTP?

    • Hey @adam-07,

We do have some ports blocked.

Our outbound SMTP is through mail channels, so port 25 is unblocked by default.

If you require a specific port to be unblocked, please submit a ticket with your use, and we can work something out :)

      Thanks,

Signed up to give it a go!

  • What if you go out of business before the year ends (a lot of startup hosting companies do, yours may not), I doubt you would give refunds

What is the point of NVMe when IO is limited to 6MB/s?

  • Thought I'd give it a shot. Thanks!

  • It's been a while since I've played with hosting, what's the best way to manage email in this sort of circumstance given you only get 1gb?

Can you just setup your custom email address in gmail and have gmail pull it down pop3 style to gmail's own 15gb inbox?

This is what I do - use your domain name registrar to set the MX records to point to Google's so that you can use google as the email provider ($5/month or thereabouts). If you expect to have low volume of emails, you can just set a desktop email client (Outlook / Thunderbird) or gmail to download all emails and delete the server copy so that the mailbox remains empty

  • I have enabled SSH in the c-panel and added my public key but can't seem to connect, is there something else I need to do to allow it? Is there a special host address IP or port?

    • Hi BaryGusey,

Can you submit a support ticket please so we can look into this further.

      Thanks,

  • I hooked up on this deal, and one of the previous. The help from Dylan has been amazing, I had to move some sites and email accounts, ran into trouble and he helped me through everything. Blinking marvellous

    • Thanks Georles for your positive feedback.
