BRAUN Oral-B iBrush9000 3D Electric Toothbrush US $80 (~AU $114) Delivered @ Joybuy

560

Know you’re getting a superior clean* with the Oral-B GENIUS 9000 electric toothbrush. This highly advanced brush features a dentist-inspired round head that surrounds and cups each tooth with dynamic oscillating, rotating and pulsating movements to remove up to 100% more plaque than a regular manual toothbrush.

These retail for $300-$400 so this is a great deal. These guys usually have a good deal like this once a year. Two years ago I picked up the philips model and was legitimate.

There is no portable case with this and it comes with a Chinese plug. Not probably a big deal for some.

only recently bought smart 7 from shavershop…

  • no portable case with this..

    • +4

A non portable case doesn't seem very useful

  • Does this use the same app as my SmartFloss™ and SmartMouthWash™?

    • Uses the oral b app

  • +2

Use coupon code SpringSale55 for $5USD off which almost offsets the $8USD GST :)

    • Doesn't work?

It says "Sorry, coupon code is invalid" when I try to add it

      • Worked for me, maybe it’s for new users only?

These retail for $300-$400 so this is a great deal.

Good deal but its worth noting HN have this for $200 and shaver shop for $175 so saying it retails for $300-$400 is a bit off.

    • -1

And was 20% off that price at Shaver shop before Christmas. The app is useless. I'd recommend a similarly functioning brush without Bluetooth.

      • The app is useless.

        No way …

    • With Australian plug ior Chinese like this one ?

    • But at $175 Shaver shop is calling out half price promotion! So standard RRP of $300+ is "technically correct"? :P

  • Was also USD80 back in 2017. Previous comments, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/341388

  • Bought the smart 5 5000 recently. Awesome toothbrush. Side note, the Precision heads are currently cheap at Aldi. $20 for 8 pack.

    • $20 for 8? did you get some? that's a really good price. i've got to head down to get me some if its true.

Can anyone who used this tell me the major reasons to buy it? Thanks

    • +2

It does a hell of a better job than a normal toothbrush. And gets areas at the back that are missed.
Plus I found it brings an excitement to bring teeth that's lost over the years. You pay more attention and want to use it more.

There is a $8 off $70 coupon banner on the home page. Just click the banner the coupon will appear to your account.

  • When I try to checkout this still gets priced as $456.10USD.
Any idea how to order it with the discounted price?

    • reduce your qtd to 1

  • Australian version has a dual voltage charging case, Chinese version does not have a travel case.

  • The 5000 on sale here was $80 at the cheapest
9000 model for $115 is a pretty awesome price
I think they use the same motor, unsure of difference

I might grab this later today while I'm at work

    • Yeah anything with the 3D oscillation cleans the same, you just get more bells and whistles with the app etc on higher end models.
Even the pro 2 2000 has it and will work just as well as this.

But at this price it's a no brainer if you're in the market for one.

  • Is this the flagship model?

  • -2

Not sure about everyone else, but I'd be getting this brush for the Bluetooth functionality alone! https://images.app.goo.gl/ZB6JMosWXjLJNV4d8

  • $8 coupon on the top can be used. Doesn't show in my mobile but show in desktop browser.

    Which can cover 7.2 tax.

  • Great price.

    Don't think I'd use Bluetooth.

    comes with a Chinese plug….
Whats an aesthetic work around for that?

    • Got one, thanks.

  • Love the look and colour of this but I don't want to have to bring my phone into the toilet just so I can time my brushes. Much prefer the older version where they give you a digital clock/timer that the brush seamlessly connects to. Only thing stopping me from an upgrade really.

    • They saved $ on the timer. That was the sole intention.

  • Way too much. I rember having a $35 electric brush I was happy with. Over Tom it’s just stops getting used and worthless.

Yes as mentioned before, I just want the rechargeable case and it isn't included as I travel regularly.

  • What's the warranty like on these? If I buy from JoyBuy, can I register it with Braun or do I have to go back through JoyBuy (who has a blanket 1 year warranty)?

  • Can anyone please tell me the difference between this one and the $20 basic one in regard of cleaning?

    • They rotate (left and right) at a higher RPM
They also pulsate (forwards and backwards), so they also clean like the phillips sonic care
The Lipo and NiMh battery keeps a constant voltage throughout the week. So the first brush of the week gets the same RPM and the brush at the end of the week. The NiCd batteries in the Vitality (The $20 Basic) means you get a good brush the first time off the charger, then its all down hill from there.
Carry case is useful, has a built in charger so good for travelling.
The rest of the features like bluetooth and different cleaning modes are rubbish and i dont use them

      • Thanks alot

  • Got mine a few days ago.
    Brilliant. Really cleans well.
Not going to bother with Bluetooth though.

  • Bought a 2nd, but now says out of stock….
