Price on Amazon is $3.95 for 12 x 125g + $8.42 delivery = $12.37

Thats $1.03 each

Sirena would have to be some of the best tuna on the market making this an amazing price

If you add x 2 it brings the total to
$16.74 (if price is correct thats 24 cans delivered @ 69cents each )

Close to 50% off which it has been at Coles at times ….so maybe not pricing error if Amazon wants to be better than supermarket prices and depends what shipping is for multiples

    • It's an error its not even sold by Amazon but a third party.

  • Back up to $35.93.

    • They’re on to professionals now it seems

    Un-related to the actual “deal”.
But a good way to lose weight and keep fit is canned tuna mixed into brown rice and red beans (dry red beans and rice made together in rice cooker) with a side of brocolli/salad.
Just rotate the canned tuna flavours and eat day and night every meal.

I enjoy tuna so I’m happy to try that — how’d you cone across the recipe?

Unsure about losing weight (still need to control portions) or get fit (still need to move!) but thanks for the suggestion though — with the greens it’s got the two macros and many of the micros covered. Add nuts or avos and you’ve got a more complete meal.

Just something I’ve tried before. DIY recipe.
You can also add homemade vinegary dressing to salad and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
Spread avos and smoked salmon on top of bare toast for breakfast. Then tuna rice + salad for lunch and dinner, just an idea.

        • Brilliant suggestions, never tried the seeds (which I enjoy too) — thanks!

          • @Member 0230: A tip is to check the calories on the tuna cans and choose the lightest ones. And drain them out (I use the snapped off lid up push down on the tuna over the sink). Max 1 can per serving.
You may expect the non-oily flavours to be too dry, but after mixing it with the heated up rice there are no issues (it gets thinned out).

            • @thebadmachine: Ah, but I do have my favourite (which I have 90% of the time — Chilli! It’s oily, but it adds a lot to the experience 😊 Otherwise yes it makes a lot of sense, thanks!

              • @Member 0230: Forgot to write: after spreading avo on the toast (i use baguette style bread myself) and placing smoked salmon on top, grind black pepper on top of the smoked salmon.
(I use generous amounts of all ingredients including black pepper.)

            • @thebadmachine: Edit: snapped off lid to push down

Chilli was one of the lower calorie ones if I remember correctly. I enjoyed it also.
