Hi Guys
I was approved for a Citibank Visa back in 11/9/2018 when they were running the 100,000 point bonus with a $3000 spend in the first 3 months deal. The deal had a annual fee of $49 for the first year as well. After a month or so past meeting the spending requirements and leaving the 3 month period, I have been informed by them that I was signed up for the 10,000 bonus point a month deal with the $1000 per month spend requirement. They are refusing to change it. I asked them earlier this year as well and they said the 3 months was not yet over and it would come after. Nothing mentioned about being on a different promotion.
I was wondering if anyone has had this happen to them with either Citibank or another bank, and what potential recourse I have?
I assume this is the offer you believe you signed up for. Let's call this Offer 1, which is still ongoing, until 30 June 2019.

Did you apply from the Offer 1 page?
Do you have any screenshot or evidence of the offer at the time of sign-up?
If you did apply from the Offer 1 page, perhaps show them this page again. And say you took up the offer in good faith; a good chance they will honour it.
