Faulty Replacement Hisense (3rd Replacement in 12 Months)

So almost exactly 12 months ago I purchased a Hisense 65n7 from JBHifi, it was delivered and after I had set it up I realised it was cracked internally.

Jbhifi picked it up and replaced it and all was well until 2 weeks ago when I started getting vertical lines in the left side, called JBhifi again and they pushed me to contact Hisense.

Hisense picked it up this week and replaced it with a new 65P7 as the N7 is no longer made.

So this new replacement is also faulty! Only 1 HDMI input works, and when it does the screen glitches/flickers and the TV randomly decides to switch off over and over.

Sometimes onle one of the backlights turns on for a split second so only the middle of the TV is "on"

So my long winded question is am I in the clear to request a full refund this time? I'm done with Hisense and sick of waiting for couriers/chasing things up and having paid for something that keeps sitting broken waiting for a resolution.

Also who do I request the refund from, JBHIFI or Hisense since they replaced it last?

TIA

Sound like you had some bad luck with this brand
i'd be asking for a full refund
i believe you should request the refund through JBHIFI,

    • they went through Hisense to replace it though. not sure if the sale contract is still with JB

      • OP will have to ask JB
My experience dealing with returns is to go directly to the company the purchase was made through and not to the manufacture.
with multiple returns already this is a bit more complicated

      • It still came from JBHIFI though, have a new invoice as they were in contact the whole time. Also the P7 was amazing whilst it worked really like the HDR10.

New invoice from JB? in that case get JB to assess it again and then when they confirm the fault, request a refund.

  • According to the Australian Consumer Law the supplier is the one that need to provide a refund. I will be following this up with JB right away and speak to the manager.

If the store fails to comply to your request, I would contact JB head office.

Just be thankful that you didn't purchase this item at Harvey Norman

  • Try another P7? You said it's amazing, might just be worth going that route again before going further

Hisense are normally decent with their warranties, surely it's 3yrs for that sorta TV?

    • My p7 died, don't recommend hisense with my experience. Gonna try tcl next tv purchase

  • Hi, I had the same with Hisense, just ask Hisense to authorize JB to refund your money. I got money back as even the replacement delivered by hisense was faulty……

    • Thanks just sent an email.

  • Ouch sounds like you've been very unlucky op :(.

Hisense's new 2019 model that success the P7 is rumoured to have Dolby vision, Atmos and will connect to Amazon Alexia and Google home, can't remember anything else?
But I'm guessing you're not interested in waiting a few months for the new model?

Anyways hope everything works out for you, getting 3 duds isn't just bad luck it's really stressful :(.
